The term, "bokashi microbes," refers to the microbes in bokashi. For instance, the Activated EM, which is a liquid of microbes and is part of the bokashi method, could also be bokashi microbes. It can also be used when referring to it for many different applications, especially when not using it as a spray (where "bokashi spray" wouldn't apply). "Bokashi microbes" as a bokashi lexicon, can make it easier for people to understand what it is (in contrast to saying, "Activated EM"). It can therefore help to avoid confusion while being consistent in explanations and with terminologies (bokashi microbes, bokashi spray, bokashi sprinkle, etc.).
